Southside Movie Series (Multiple Locations - See Description!)

Coming to a neighborhood near you - the first ever "Southside Movie Series!"
The first movie, Monsters Inc., will start at 6pm on Friday, January 12, at Journey House and Longfellow Elementary (2110 W. Scott St). The movie will be shown in the gym and those that attend are encouraged to bring blankets and pillows to sit on. Light snacks will be available for purchase, and proceeds will go towards future community events. Presenting partners at this location include Clarke Square Neighborhood Initiative, Journey House, and Longfellow Elementary.
Up is the second movie featured in the series. It will be showing at the Don & Sallie Davis Boys & Girls Club (1975 S 24th St) on February 9 at 6pm. Free club memberships will be offered to every family who attends the movie screening, and light refreshments will be available for purchase at a reduced cost. This movie is proudly sponsored by the Building Neighborhood Capacity Program located at the Milwaukee Christian Center.
The third, and final movie of the Series will be Dr. Seuss’, The Lorax and will be shown on Friday, March 2nd at 6pm at Lincoln Avenue Elementary (1817 W Lincoln Ave). At this location, attendees will have access to auditorium-style seating, popcorn, and refreshments available for purchase. This featured film is sponsored by Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers and Lincoln Avenue Elementary.

God wants us to give Him our best! I sit here and think about all of the moving pieces that allow Community Teams to function and I stand in amazement! We have people, organizations, and companies that are truly giving God their ALL when they serve this great city!
The people that you may not see from the pics are: planning events, loading trailers, picking up bakery and bagels, picking up pallets of donations, sorting clothes, organizing pallets, organizing warehouse, praying for our team, providing financial support, sorting food, preparing meals for the homeless, loading outreach supplies, serving at our kiosk, making schedules, responding to need requests, and the list goes on....
